Poppaea Bramwell-Reeks

Poppaea is a Level 4 Sports Massage therapist and has trained in myofascial cupping. Her passions include analysing our bodies kinematic chain to help restore functional movement patterns stems. Poppaea is a GB triathlete and has competed in a variety of sports throughout her life which allows her to appreciate how devastating injuries can be. Movement is healing and she wants all her patients to thrive and live their best lives whilst preventing body fatigue and injuries.

She believes in using muscle energy techniques, soft tissue release, PNF techniques and neuromuscular techniques to treat and prevent future injuries, allowing the body to heal itself, reduce inflammation and pain whilst restoring elasticity back into muscles. She is focused on treating every patient as an individual and uncovering their specific muscle imbalances to help alleviate pain and prevent further injury in the back, neck, shoulders, knee, ankles and any muscular/sport injuries. She believes that ankle and foot mobility is often neglected as a cause of pain and dysfunction in the knee and hip joints.

Poppaea has spent the last 7 years competing internationally, working as a RNLI beach lifeguard in Bournemouth and New Zealand, as well as graduating in Fashion Design and working as a massage therapist.

During her travels in New Zealand, she treated a variety of patients including world class athletes, office workers, manuals workers and weekend warriors. In her spare times she loves to be outdoors, reading, running and spending time with family at the beach.
