Emma is totally amazing. I first went to her after trying various different things as I was in much pain and struggling to walk. After two treatments the change is incredible. Her technique is fantastic and she is such a lovely warm friendly person putting you instantly at ease. Thankyou Emma I would highly recommend you to anybody
I have been going to Durham House to see Felicity for over 6 years now and she never fails to put me back together. They are a fantastic team who have been a massive support to me through my back troubles. When I first went I could barely move and had to sleep on the floor, now I go every couple of months just to keep it in check. She’s amazing!
I have not only had chiropractic appointments but acupuncture and massage too. All the practitioners have been very professional and of the highest standard giving great advice, as are the front of house team. I have recommended Durham House to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to again.
Durham house is without question the best chiropractic clinic in the south of England. Galin is extremely knowledgable, and always willing to go above and beyond. I’ve had chronic back pain since I broke my back in my teens. I’ve had everything the NHS has to offer and Galin is the only one who has helped me get pain free. Galins treatment of my SPD during and after pregnancy was excellent. I recommended the clinic to my siblings and they now use Durham House too. The reception team are always warm and friendly, and with massage and acupuncture also on offer I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my health.
I have been with Durham house and Galin in particular ever since it was founded.
I have seen the practice grow from strength to strength.
Their classes, the additional therapies, chiropractic treatments etc. All second to none.
The staff is extremely competent and caring.
I can highly recommend Durham House.
I’ve seen Emma at Durham House Clinic a few times now, owing to sore shoulders, neck and back. She is incredibly knowledgable about all of the muscles and nerves and how they interconnect, and she does a fantastic job of fixing the issue and addressing the pain. She really gets to the root cause of the issue and offers advice on how to prevent it from getting any worse whilst at home. Despite always having a deep tissue massage (which can sometimes be painful), I actually look forward to it, because I know she’s going to get very deep into my muscles and sort me out! Couldn’t recommend her and Durham House Clinic enough, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
Brilliant Emma has ‘rebuilt’ me after my Three Peaks challenge! Galin and Emma keep me pain free and have resolved all the neck and back issues that have plagued me for years. Eternally grateful!
April to September 2023: Galin has exceptional knowledge, shows compassion and understanding and is without doubt a leader in her field. A real credit to her industry. The assistence and advice given to my elderly Mother, who had been written off by her GP, and the subsequent results were and are outstanding. We still have a way to go but to date thank you for all you have done. Huge thanks and credit also to Rosie who has demonstrated both skill and patience providing the treatments to date. Highly recommended team of professionals.
Galin is great as a Chiropractor – been seeing her for several years for maintenance work. I definitely feel so much better and being able to move easier after the sessions.
I’ve also started to see Sam for deep tissue massage for another issue. She is excellent and really knows how to get the muscles/joints working.
A great team all round, including the reception ladies too.
I was under a great deal of emotional stress and work related stress doing 12 hour days hunched over a pc with impossible deadlines. I had a motorbike accident a few years back and damaged neck where nerves to arms pass through, thought that was the problem but it turned out to be knots in the back muscles that Katie got rid of in ONE session. She was absolutely amazing – weeks later and no pain, same stress
so it probably will come back but now I know how to sort it. Katie!!!
Emma & Galin have been looking after my back, knees, elbows… keeping me moving for many years now and I rate them very highly. I have seen other practitioners within the practice when emergencies have presented themselves and they have been equally high quality and professional.
I recently visited Durham House Chiropractic Clinic and was very pleasantly surprised. I received a thorough initial examination and James spent a long time reassuring me and explaining everything he was doing. I left the clinic happy and with a set plan of the exercises I am going to do weekly until my next appointment. Everyone at the chiropractor were kind and I highly recommend James.
Decided to treat myself to some chiropractic sessions instead of going earlier when I was experiencing discomfort and my injuries were resulting in the rest of my body picking up the slack and getting injured. Henry Bramwell-Reeks was really good. Not only did they unlock a serious shoulder/back impingement and increase my mobility but they provided me with the stretches I needed to do to in order to improve the movement over time. I have been now over half a dozen times and as a real treat, I had an hour long massage with Poppaea which was a proper treat. Years of neglect, lack of warming up before parkrun and long runs had left me with knots and tight muscles. Worth every penny and I will certainly do it again as maintenance rather that a treat. Other things worth noting, the booking emails and reminders are really good, parking is a little tight but I have always managed to find a space in the adjourning road
Saw James (chiro) for a neck injury. Am not the best patient, but his reassuring demeanour put me at ease, and I have seen massive improvement in range of motion/pain after the first full treatment. Also, reception staff were lovely. Would highly recommend Durham House, unfalteringly.
I have used many Osteopaths and Chiropractors through the years as I have moved home meaning I had to find a new one’s each time… not and easy situation.
Enter James at Durham House … Wow what a depth of knowledge he has … Yes he fixed my issue and was extremely adaptable and keen to understand my history … then he set to work ! If I had one work to describe my experience it would be superb .. if I had 2 it would be Thank You and my 3rd word would be James … Amazing !
So I came to Durham House a few months ago with chronic headaches and migraines to the point I wasn’t able to work. I have had a couple sessions with James and a massage with Emma. In such a short amount of time (and following my exercise plan) the difference has been life changing. I’ve never felt relief like this in almost a year. Honestly the best decision I ever made. James is so lovely, he listens to all your concerns and communicates the whole way through the treatment. Emma’s massage was fantastic too! Can’t wait to continue with these guys and see more progress! ☺️
Amazing amazing amazing! I had my first ever MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) massage with Emma a few backs and my second today. The change in just one session is incredible. So much more energy, and my skin is starting to clear which is the best thing of all!! Might be the best thing I’ve done for myself in years.
My wife and I have been visiting Galin at Durham House for a few years. Most recently, she’s helped me overcome some severe migraines. Every time we visit, there is a warm welcome and an expert consultation – a wonderful experience. Thank you Galin and the team!
These people are miracle workers! I’ve been treated by Galin for years who completely fixed me. My chiropractor before her wasn’t working for me at all but Galin is different gravy. I also have the incredible Sam every month for sports massage who happily fixes my monthly sports injuries. I’d still be flat on my back and moaning even more without these people and I can’t thank them enough 🙂
Brilliant. I was sceptical with Chiropractic treatment as I don’t like clicking but honestly just so good, acupuncture and stretching and pressure points. My treatment has been amaaazing. I’d highly recommend 👌
Highly recommend this team of legends. I’ve been a client for many years now, initially endurance event rebuild sessions, but now I regularly get a tune up with James and massage with Katie. Honestly so so good. I would go so far as to say life changing. Such a great place with great folk who really know their stuff. I have referred many friends and family and everyone has the same feedback. Go see them, you wont be disappointed.
